Welcome !

Our Troop is sponsored by St. Patrick's Men's Club at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas.

The Troop originated in 1965 and is firmly established as a solid, contributing organization both in scouting circles and in our community. We invite all boys between the ages of 11 and 18 to participate.

We are an active organization with as many as six activities per month, yet we encourage all of the scouts to participate in sports and other extracurricular activities.

Troop 719 is part of the Northern Trail District in Circle Ten Council. In line with the National Boy Scout Program, we plan and design our program and activities around the principles of:

Building citizenship in the community,

Having a strong character,

Having mental and physical fitness.

2016 High Adventure Opportunities

Posted on Dec 17 2015 - 3:55pm

Sea Base (August 2 – August 9)

We have reserved two crews for the Sea Base Adventure in Marsh Harbour on the Great Abaco Island in the Bahamas.  These are 7 day/ 6 night sailing trips on a 41 foot yacht in the Sea of Abaco.  The Abaco's Islands are a cluster of islands located due east of West Palm Beach, Florida.  There will be opportunities to snorkel, sail, beachcomb and fish on the trip.  However, this is not a pleasure cruise.  The crews will be running the ship taking on the duties of sailing, cleaning and cooking while on board.  We will sleep on the boat each night.  All participants must be strong swimmers for this trip.  This trip will be lead by Mr. Crenwelge.  The cost of the trip will be between $1,800-$2,200 depending on the number of people in each crew and the flight cost at the time.  Evryone should have their first payment in by now.
