Catholic Camp-O-Ree coming in March!

Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 719. Our Troop is sponsored by St. Patrick's Men's Club at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas. The Troop originated in 1965 and is firmly established as a solid, contributing organization both in scouting circles and in our community. We invite all boys between the ages of 11 and 18 to participate. We are an active organization with as many as six activities per month, yet we encourage all of the scouts to participate in sports and other extracurricular activities. In line with the National Boy Scout Program, we plan and design our program and activities around the principles of:

Building citizenship in the community.

Having a strong character.

Have mental and physical fitness. 

Our Troop is made up of 46 Scouts, 7 Patrols, and over 20 Adult  Leaders in the Troop Committee

Troop meetings are held on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Monday of each month. Committee meetings are on the 2nd Monday of every month. Troop Leaders' Council (TLC)  meetings are on the 4th Monday of each month. Meetings start at 7:30 and are held in the St. Patrick's Scout Room. A formal ceremony where merit badges and rank advancement is awarded at a Court of Honor. A Court of Honor can take the place of a regular Troop meeting. Court of Honors are held 3 to 4 times a year. Dates are announced at Troop meetings, and all parents and Scouts are expected to attend.

 

Cub Scouts at St. Patrick's is an active program for boys between the ages of 8 and 10. Pack 719 is made up of several dens which meet on a monthly basis. The dens join once a month for a Pack Meeting. The Cub program teaches:
