Order of the Arrow is a national brotherhood of Scouts. The honor of becoming a member of the Order of the Arrow is one that is awarded to a Scout by the members of his troop. OA is designed to promote service and camping. He must be an outstanding Scout and an must want to succeed in Scouting. The Scout must also be recommended by his Scoutmaster, have achieved the rank of 1st Class, and obtained 15 nights of camping. Troop 719 OA members are a part of the Mikanakawa Lodge 101 and the Yanush (North Trail) Chapter.
