Boy Scout Leadership Training:

Oak Leaf - A two day leadership training for 1st class scouts.

National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) - A week long leadership training for scouts offered during the Summer. Scouts should attend before becoming  Assistant Senior Patrol Leader (ASPL) or Senior Patrol Leaders (SPL). You may find more information at Circle Ten Council - Golden Acorn.

Scouting University at the University of Texas at Dallas. It is offered in the Spring. You may find more information at APO - Scouting University.

Merit Badge College - It provides scouts with the opportunity to earn merit badges not normally available at Summer or Winter camps. It is offered during the month of July. You may find MB offerings and registration information at Circle Ten Council - Merit Badge College. 

Adult Leadership Training:

Adult Basic Training - A training course consisting of four evening sessions plus one weekend campout.

Wood Badge - This course involves two 3-day weekends or six consecutive days of training in both conference and outdoor settings. You may find more information at Circle Ten Council - Wood Badge Training.
